Explanation: Based on the stepped trench opened at the eastern slope of the mound, the phases are as follows; Cultural Phase I: Iron Age, Cultural Phase II: Middle Bronze Age (beginning of 2nd century BC), Cultural Phase III: EBA and Chalcolithic Age. The head of the excavation team reports that the building levels from IIIa to IIIk date to the EBA while the building levels from IIIk date to the Chalcolithic Age.
